At Electronic Arts, we create experiences that reach millions of players worldwide.

Behind every great game is a team ensuring that every word, every line, and every detail feels natural to players in their own language.

This is not simple testing — it is delivering global experiences with local precision.

We are looking for individuals who can focus deeply, think critically, and take ownership of quality before games reach the public.

The Role

As a Video Game Tester – Localization (French), you are responsible for ensuring that EA games are linguistically accurate and culturally relevant for French-speaking players.

You are one of the final checkpoints before release.

You will be:

  • Testing game content and identifying linguistic or text issues

  • Verifying French localization across UI, menus, and in-game dialogue

  • Reporting bugs clearly in both English and French

  • Checking grammar, consistency, and contextual accuracy

  • Communicating issues with QA and Localization teams in Madrid

  • Ensuring all issues are tracked and resolved before release

Precision matters. Small details define player experience.

If something feels incorrect or unnatural — you are expected to catch it.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)

  • Standard working hours with occasional peak periods

  • Overtime may be required and compensated with time off

This Role Is NOT for You If:

  • You struggle with detailed and repetitive tasks

  • You are not comfortable working with structured QA processes

  • You miss small linguistic or contextual errors

  • You are only casually interested in games

  • You avoid responsibility in reporting issues clearly

This Role IS for You If:

  • You are detail-oriented and highly focused

  • You notice language inconsistencies quickly

  • You communicate clearly in both French and English

  • You follow structured workflows effectively

  • You take ownership of quality and accuracy

  • You work well in a multicultural team environment

Preferred Background

  • Strong interest in video games (PC, Console, Mobile)

  • Familiarity with game interfaces and player experience

  • Basic understanding of QA or testing workflows

  • Comfortable using Windows systems

  • Previous localization or QA experience (a plus)

Requirements

  • Native French speaker (mandatory)

  • Advanced English level

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Must be at least 18 years old

Work Details

  • Full-time (Temporary)

  • Remote (Europe)

  • Work within EA’s international Localization team

Compensation

€22,000 gross per year

Final Note

This role requires focus, consistency, and accountability.

If you can ensure linguistic quality, detect issues others miss, and help deliver polished experiences to millions of players — you will succeed here.

If not, the level of precision required will make this role challenging.
