At Electronic Arts, we create immersive experiences played by millions around the world.
But great gameplay alone is not enough — every word, every sentence, and every detail must feel natural to the player.
This is where you come in.
We are looking for individuals who can stay focused, detect subtle issues, and take full responsibility for language quality before games reach the public.
As a Video Game Tester – Localization (Spanish), you are responsible for ensuring that EA games are accurate, natural, and culturally relevant for Spanish-speaking players.
You are one of the final checkpoints before release.
You will be:
Testing game content and identifying linguistic or text issues
Verifying Spanish localization across UI, menus, and dialogue
Reporting bugs clearly in both Spanish and English
Checking grammar, tone, and contextual accuracy
Collaborating with QA and Localization teams in Madrid
Ensuring all issues are tracked and resolved before release
Attention to detail is critical.
If something feels off — even slightly — you are expected to catch it.
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Standard working hours with peak testing periods
Occasional overtime may be required (compensated with time off)
You struggle with repetitive and detail-focused tasks
You are not comfortable following structured processes
You miss small linguistic or UI inconsistencies
You are only casually interested in gaming
You avoid responsibility when reporting issues
You are detail-oriented and highly focused
You quickly spot language and content issues
You communicate clearly in Spanish and English
You follow QA processes with consistency
You take ownership of quality and accuracy
You work well in a team environment
Strong interest in video games (PC, Console, Mobile)
Familiarity with game interfaces and player experience
Basic understanding of QA/testing workflows
Comfortable working with Windows systems
Previous QA or localization experience (a plus)
Native Spanish speaker (mandatory)
Advanced English level
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must be at least 18 years old
Full-time (Temporary)
Remote (Europe)
Work within EA’s Localization & QA team
Relocation support available
€22,000 gross per year
This role demands precision, consistency, and accountability.
If you can ensure linguistic quality, catch issues others miss, and help deliver polished gaming experiences — you will succeed here.
If not, the level of detail required will make it challenging.
